An Early Foresight

The Health authority of Kerala was able to foresee and forecast their action plans very early at its beginning when the pandemic began to spread from its Epicentre China.

  Kerala was already  in progress ,tackling the process of defense when WHO was announcing the seriousness of the virus

  Kerala’s chase for Virus started from their International Airports,where returnees underwent stringent screening and advisories were given for  contacting Health officials in case of symptoms.

Media

Media was always in support to the government for bringing awareness about the danger and severity of the virus, especially among the locals.This helped the government to execute a successful lock down and control the outbreak to a limit.

Transparency

Transparency was the key feature that helped Kerala stand steady against back to back Floods,Nipah,and even the Covid-19 outbreak.Officials in Kerala never hesitated in disclosing the information , situations or the damage they underwent on each stages.

    Press conferences were conducted on routine basis especially by The Minsters .At the same time a clear strategy was formulated and implemented with set of duties designated.

These factors together held the role in making ‘KERALA STAND APART’
